This beautiful “Red Room” was renovated at the end of the 19th Century. All the parquet floors, wallpaper and furnishings are original. After WWI, Officers from the American Army stayed at the hotel and this room was used to stable their horses. The deep grooves in the wooden floors can still be seen from the horseshoes.
